Rey Mysterio & Edge React To Dominik Turning On Them
A shocking moment took place at WWE’s Clash at the Castle when Dominik Mysterio turned on his father Rey Mysterio and Edge and now there are some reactions to it.
In the build-up to the Clash at the Castle event, it appeared as though young Dominik was supportive of his father Rey teaming with his long-time friend Edge, but actions speak louder as we found out after the match.
Rey & Edge picked up the win over Finn Balor & Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle thanks to some great teamwork. Dominik even got involved when he tripped Balor, Rey hit the 619 on Balor and Edge hit the Spear for the pinfall win to gain some revenge on The Judgment Day group that turned on him months ago.
After the match, Dominik was in the ring with Rey and Edge looking a bit confused about how he should feel. That led to Dominik kicking Edge in the groin with a low blow (Dominik’s shoe even came off after the kick). Rey pleaded with his son, trying to calm down his son and Dominik gave his father a hard lariat to knock him down in the ring. Dominik stood over the two legends and left on his own.
While Dominik’s heel turn against his father has been rumored for months, the crowd in Cardiff reacted in shock. After Dominik left, Edge hugged Rey to let him know that he was there for him.
Rey Mysterio went on Instagram to react to what happened:
“IN COMPLETE DENIAL!! WTF Son”
Edge also posted about it on social media where he ended the message by saying “See ya Monday Dom” as if he was warning the younger Mysterio that he may have made a big mistake.

All of this drama should lead to newly turned heel Dominik facing off against his father Rey at some point in the future. It’s unknown at this moment if Dominik is going to join The Judgment Day group that was laughing at the site of Dominik’s actions.
