Rey Mysterio Gives Dominik His Judgment Day At WrestleMania 39

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio taught his son a lesson at WrestleMania 39 as he picked up a big win over his brat of a son, Dominik.

The problems began for Rey Mysterio at Clash at the Castle in September 2022 when Dominik Mysterio shockingly turned on his own father and joined The Judgment Day.

Since then, Dominik Mysterio would not be in the running for any Son of the Year competitions as he bad-mouthed and physically attacked his father at every turn. Dominik and his ‘mami’ Rhea Ripley went so far as to turn up at the Mysterios family home during the holidays to cause mayhem and it was when this happened at Christmas that Dominik was taken away to serve hard time in jail.

Rey Mysterio had refused to get physical with his son but when Dominik got in his own mother’s face on SmackDown, the WWE Hall of Famer snapped and dropped his son before accepting his WrestleMania challenge.

Bad Bunny joined the Spanish announce table for the match and Prison Dom made his entrance in the back of a police car, being led to the ring by corrections officers while handcuffed. His father, on the other hand, paid tribute to the late, great Eddie Guerrero as he was driven to the ring in a low rider by Snoop Dogg while Eddie Guerrero’s music filled the SoFi Stadium.

When the bell rang, Dominik found out first hand why his father was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame but it did not stop him being at his worst as he threw a drink in his sister’s face at ringside before his mom slapped him clean across the face.

The Judgment Day made its presence felt as Damian Priest and Finn Balor came to ringside and got involved in the bout before they were taken out by Rey’s new partners in the LWO. Dominik attempted to use a chain that had been left conveniently in the ring by Damian Priest but Bad Bunny took it from him. That let Rey hit the 619 and a big frog splash to pick up the win.
