Reported WWE WrestleMania Plans “Aren’t True”
Speculation around WWE WrestleMania 43 is false.
On January 20th it was reported that WrestleMania 42 in 2026 could be heading to New Orleans, while the 2027 event could land in Indianapolis.
The city is set to host the 2025 Royal Rumble on February 1st, and as part of that deal, it will also host a future two-night SummerSlam and WrestleMania. However, despite speculation that could be WrestleMania 43, it seems that won’t be the case.
Reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer claimed those earlier rumours weren’t true.
“Rumors of WrestleMania in 2027 in Indianapolis aren’t true. There is a WrestleMania date coming to Indianapolis but it’s many years from now, I believe in the early 2030s.”
London Officials Still Hopeful On WWE WrestleMania
The news will be welcomed by the Mayor of London, who continues to advocate for WrestleMania in the United Kingdom. Following those reports on the future of the event, a spokesperson for Sadiq Khan said he “remains determined” to bring the spectacular to the English capital.
It’s believed that any WrestleMania held in the UK would take place at Wembley Stadium.
On July 25th it was revealed that Triple H and Nick Khan had travelled to London to meet Mayor Sadiq Khan. The meeting came after Sadiq Khan went public with his desire to bring WrestleMania to London back in April.
