New Report Sheds Light On WWE’s Return Plans For Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan is inching closer to a return to the ring.
Back on the June 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, Liv Morgan had been set to clash with Kairi Sane. However, less than three minutes into the match, disaster struck while Morgan took a routine bump in the ring.
The referee quickly brought the action to a close, and Morgan was helped backstage by a series of officials. It was later revealed that the star had suffered a dislocated shoulder and would require surgery, putting her on the shelf for several months.
While the injury was obviously a disaster for Morgan on a personal level, it also sparked chaos backstage. The former Women’s World Champion was heavily factored into storylines running through Evolution and SummerSlam, meaning huge amounts of plans for the women’s division into the summer had to be rewritten.
With Morgan out of the picture, she was fully replaced in Judgment Day by Roxanne Perez.
WWE Excited To Get Liv Morgan Back
According to a new update from Mike Johnson via PWInsider Elite, the hope within WWE is that Morgan will be back in action by early 2026. However, the door remains open for her to return earlier if her rehab program moves more quickly than expected.
Multiple sources note that the company is “very excited” to have Morgan back involved.
It’s long been rumoured online that Morgan will make her big comeback in the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia.
