Report: Hideo Itami Suffers Neck Injury At WWE NXT Live Event; Could Be Out Of Action For Months
NXT Superstar Hideo Itami has suffered a neck injury at a recent NXT live event according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. He was teaming with NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura to take on the team of Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli.
Moss attempted to give Itami a powerslam, but the move clearly went wrong, with Itami landing on his head in an awkward position. You can watch the botched powerslam and subsequent Itami injury below.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that this injury could keep Itami out of action for months. Itami recently returned to NXT after missing over a year due to a serious shoulder injury. The timing of this injury couldn’t be worse as Itami and Cruiserweight Classic star Kota Ibushi were supposed to team together to take part in the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
