New Report Gives Exciting Update On Roman Reigns’ Future

Roman Reigns Stare WWE

Things could be about to get interesting for Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns remains absent from WWE television after being attacked by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker on the August 31 edition of Monday Night Raw. That assault was revenge for Reigns beating Reed at Clash In Paris before taking out Paul Heyman.

It was later announced that Paul Heyman had suffered a “larynx contusion” at the hands of Reigns.

In reality the former World Champion was written out due to filming for the new Street Fighter movie.

Roman Reigns Closing On WWE Return

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Reigns will be wrapping up his work on the movie on September 25. This, at least in theory, clears the way for a quick return to WWE.

The news comes after Roman Reigns appeared in the latest promotional materials for Crown Jewel on October 11, in Perth, Australia. In new graphics shared by Triple H, Reigns is featured alongside Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, and John Cena.

While the graphic is by no means confirmation that Reigns will be involved, given how close the event is, it appears unlikely that he’d be advertised without appearing.

On the same theme, Brock Lesnar is currently being advertised for WrestleMania 42 after making his in-ring return against John Cena at Wrestlepalooza. It was recently reported that Lesnar signed a new contract while absent from the company after being a free agent for several months.
