Renee Paquette Gives Surprising Reaction To Jon Moxley’s AEW Takeover
Renee Paquette is steering clear of Jon Moxley at work.
The current version of Jon Moxley might be the most vicious, and most dangerous the wrestling industry has ever seen. Now at the helm of the Death Riders, Moxley has vowed to bring a revolution to AEW, whether the company’s other wrestlers want to follow him or not.
This has seen the star suffocate Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag, before eventually taking the AEW World Championship and ending his career. Meanwhile, flanked by Marina Shafir, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta, Moxley has left countless members of the AEW roster battered and broken.
Despite the chaos, Moxley’s wife Renee Paquette has continued to perform her job as a backstage interviewer as normal, staying silent on the champion’s rampage. But in any case, it seems she’s content to leave Moxley to his own devices.
Jon Moxley Is Left To Do His Own Thing
During an interview on Busted Open Radio, Paquette was asked about Moxley’s takeover, but as she explained, she’s leaving him to do his own thing.
“I don’t know. I kind of just steer clear. The truth of it is, when Jon and I go to work, we’ve always been like this, he does his job and I do my job. We’ve always been like that. I honestly don’t even see him most of the day. He’s off doing his thing, I’m doing mine.
I immensely respect what he does and I think that’s another level that helps me understand more of the wrestling business, my relationship with him. I love watching him do what he does. My job is different and I always really love what I get to bring to the table. I just stick to my job and I let him do his and then we reconvene at the end of the night.”
At Full Gear, Jon Moxley will put the AEW World Title on the line against Orange Cassidy. The match will be his first since defeating Danielson at WrestleDream.
