Released WWE Star In Quick Name Change
One WWE star has wasted no time in revealing their new wrestling name after receiving their unexpected release from the company.
WWE confirmed fans’ worst fears when the company released several stars from the roster, including Braun Strowman and Shayna Baszler. Dakota Kai, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter were also let go from the main roster, while a whole host of NXT talent were also cut.
Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade, Riley Osborne, Eddy Thorpe, Jakara Jackson, Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang, Oro Mensah, and Javier Bernal were all let go. It is believed that they will all have 30-day non-compete clauses, as is normal for NXT talent compared to the 90-day clause for main roster talent.
Now, one of these stars is already looking to the future as they reveal their new wrestling name, as they look to continue their career.

Elayna Black was Jade’s wrestling name before she joined WWE in 2021. It was under that name that the star competed in two matches for AEW back in 2020, where she lost to Red Velvet in a singles match before teaming with Leyla Hirsch to lose a tag team bout against Velvet and Brandi Rhodes.
