Released WWE Star Heading Back To The Ring

One released WWE star is wasting little time in getting back in the ring as they’ve been announced for a show taking place on WrestleMania weekend.

NXT star Duke Hudson was released by WWE in January. No official reason was given for his departure. The 35-year-old Australian was last in action back in November 2024 at an NXT live event where he defeated Anthony Luke.

Hudson’s time in WWE will best be remembered for his run as part of the popular Chase U faction. Originally a somewhat unwilling member of the group alongside Andre Chase, Thea Hail, and Riley Osborne, he eventually grew to be an integral part of Chase U.

One report has suggested the real reason WWE has released Duke Hudson but the star himself now seems to be making plans for his future outside of the company.

Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling has announced that the star will be heading to their show in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend titled The House Always Wins. It remains to be seen who he will be facing on that show.

The promotion is also advertising that AEW star Wardlow will be in attendance. Wardlow recently returned backstage to AEW a year after he last competed in the ring for the company.
