Recent Goldberg Controversy Takes Unexpected Twist

Goldberg WWE

There’s been a twist in the recent controversy surrounding Goldberg and a missed autograph signing.

Goldberg competed in his final match in July when he challenged Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Ring General won that match, bringing the WCW legend’s career to an end.

After the match, Goldberg’s farewell address was cut short by WWE as the show came to an abrupt end. Following his retirement, he spoke about his unhappiness with how his retirement was treated, leading to criticism from some quarters.

Clarification On Goldberg Controversy

Now, he’s been implicated in another controversy as K&S WrestleFest took to social media to claim that Goldberg did not participate in a planned private signing, writing:

Unfortunately Goldberg PRIVATE Signing did not happen. We had all our items laid out ready to sign as Goldberg was doing another Private for another vendor. After he was done, he got up and said he was done…He walked out past our stuff, and left..We are all super disappointed, and frustrated…My apologies to all…

However, there are two sides to every story.

Now, Big Event EXS promoter Tom Unger – the person who had booked Goldberg for the other signing – has explained the situation:

no he wasn’t. He signed for the fans for 5hrs straight..Ken wasn’t guaranteed anything. I told him if we had time we would get your items done..He shouldn’t be posting this all over like the victim. This was my deal and my customers come first..Shouldn’t take mail order from all you not knowing if it was going to get done

K&S WrestleFest’s original statement has now been deleted. The WWE Hall of Famer has maintained his silence on the situation.
