Reason Behind Tiffany Stratton’s Prolonged WWE Absence
An update has been provided about why Tiffany Stratton has been off WWE television.
Tiffany Stratton had a breakout year in 2025 that saw her win the WWE Women’s Title on the first SmackDown of the year, and she went on to hold the title for an incredible 302 days.
At the Saturday Night’s Event show on November 1st, Jade Cargill beat Stratton to become the WWE Women’s Champion for the first time in her career. It’s worth noting also that in the two months since Cargill won the title, she has yet to defend it on television.
As for Stratton, she has been off WWE television for over two months with no reason given. Stratton was selling a knee injury during her feud with Cargill, but it was considered just a storyline.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that Stratton has been out of action due to an injury. No details were provided about the injury or whether she’s still dealing with it.
With the Royal Rumble coming up in three weeks’ time on January 31st, WWE often keeps people on the sidelines and waits to bring them back for a major show like that, so that could be what’s happening with Stratton.
Tiffany Stratton Wants To Face Hall Of Famer At WrestleMania 42
In the WWE WrestleMania 42 commercial promoting ticket sales for the April showcase in Las Vegas, Tiffany Stratton is among the top female wrestlers featured.
Regarding a potential WrestleMania 42 match, Tiffany Stratton made it clear she’d love to face WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 42.
I would love that. It would be iconic. It would be a generation vs. generation match. Let’s manifest that. Nikki Bella, if you’re listening, me versus you at WrestleMania 42.
Even though she’s been off WWE TV recently, the blonde bombshell has been in the news because she has confirmed being in a relationship with NXT star Shady Elnahas. The couple has been dating for a few months and recently went to Maxxine Dupri’s New Year’s Eve wedding together.
