Reason For WWE Raw Set Changes Revealed
Monday Night Raw saw the World Heavyweight Championship on the line in Little Rock, Arkansas and there seemed to be some changes on the show.
The night’s main event saw Seth Rollins put his World Heavyweight Title on the line in his much talked about match against Jinder Mahal. Ultimately, the champion picked up the win to keep his gold but Seth Rollins suffered an injury that is sure to leave many worried this close to WrestleMania.
Eagle-eyed viewers spotted that the show had a different look with a different stage set up leading to many wondering why but it seems even the Raw stage was a victim to the weather.
On social media, The Wrestling Classic noted that WWE was forced to ground rig the set and lighting due to the ceiling of the building being unable to cope with the extra weight of snow on its roof.
WWE Has New Face In Charge Of Production
The 15th of January edition of Raw was the first since WWE announced a new Head of Media and Production. Lee Fitting was the man picked to replace long-time Executive Producer Kevin Dunn.
Kevin Dunn sensationally quit WWE after 40 years with things believed to have gotten messy between the two sides at the end. Dunn had been seen as a long-time ally of Vince McMahon and his exit comes less than three months after Endeavor’s takeover of WWE was completed.
Not everyone was thrilled with Fitting’s appointment as there was said to be dismay from some WWE employees over his hiring.
