Reason Becky Lynch Missed WWE Raw Revealed

Becky Lynch was conspicuous by her absence on WWE Raw, and the reason for her missing the show has now been revealed.

In one of the biggest shocks in recent Raw history, Maxxine Dupri picked up a win over WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, albeit by count out.

Dupri had her chance to win Lynch’s title in her hometown of Sacramento on the October 20th edition of Raw. However, that match ended in disqualification when Lynch had had enough and clocked Dupri with her title belt.

Becky Lynch Needed A Week Off

Maxxine Dupri was still not happy despite these two big wins, as she wanted to walk away with Lynch’s WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce noted that Lynch was absent as:

She needed a week off after what happened last week.

Pearce was keen to make a third match between Dupri and Lynch for the title, but Dupri held him off until she took advice from an old friend to make sure this title shot did not go to waste like the first two. Pearce agreed, making the match official for whenever Maxxine Dupri is ready.

Becky Lynch captured the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Lyra Valkyria at Money In The Bank, becoming the second woman to hold that gold since it was introduced.
