The Elimination Chamber headed to Australia for the first time ever as WWE took over Perth but one Aussie star had to miss out on the festivities.

Rhea Ripley is the runaway favourite in Perth, Australia as the star returns to her homeland as Women’s World Champion. With this being a major event in the WWE calendar, many expected all of the company’s Australian stars would find a place on the show but one had to miss out.

Bronson Reed had his chance to qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber when he faced Bobby Lashley on the 12th of February edition of Raw. However, Lashley picked up the win meaning Reed would have to miss out on a triumphant return home.

Bronson Reed Reveals WWE Elimination Chamber Omission

Taking to social media, Bronson Reed has revealed there was more to his omission from the show than met the eye as he had to put his family first:

FULL DISCLOSURE: Originally, I was set to be at #WWEChamber It would have been an incredible moment. Unfortunately, plans changed. But everything happens for a reason. My wife and I have had our baby early, I was supposed to miss the PLE to make sure I’m here for my family. Thank you for all your support. To all my friends and family who have reached out. To @TripleH for guiding me. Now I’m not just BIG … I AM BIG, POPPA!

Australian star Indi Hartwell found her place on the card as she and Candice LeRae unsuccessfully challenged The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the Elimination Chamber Kick Off Show.

Rhea Ripley is undoubtedly the star of the show, however, as she puts her Women’s World Championship on the line against Nia Jax. Rhea Ripley now knows who she’ll face at WrestleMania 40 after a huge Chamber match.
