Real Reason Why Sheamus Was Written Off WWE Television
Sheamus was written off WWE television recently but contrary to popular belief, it’s for a reason far more important than an arm injury.
The October 21 WWE SmackDown featured a first-time-ever outing between Sheamus and Solo Sikoa, a match won by the latter, albeit with the assistance of Sami Zayn. ‘The Celtic Warrior’ was subsequently left beaten and battered after a steel chair-aided assault from The Bloodline.
Sheamus was said to have been left with a “non-displaced fracture” to his elbow as a result of the attack. However, the WWE Triple Crown Champion doesn’t appear to be injured at all. Instead, the attack was done as a means to write him off television while he gets married.
He’ll be tying the knot with Isabella Revilla, to who he’s been engaged since July 2021. PWInsider has also reported that Drew McIntyre will be attending their wedding, hence his omission from the upcoming WWE European tour.
Professionally, 2022 has proven to be extremely beneficial for Sheamus. He’s risen back to popularity, bringing Butch and Ridge Holland with him in The Brawling Brutes, and wrestling a series of acclaimed matches. Specifically, outings vs. Drew McIntyre and GUNTHER have been heralded for their intensity.
As of this writing, it’s unknown when Sheamus will return to television. TJRWrestling wishes him all the best ahead of his wedding!
