Real Reason Becky Lynch Was Pulled From WWE Netflix Premiere
WWE fans tuning into Raw’s Netflix premiere might have been forgiven for expecting The Man to come around but the plug was pulled on Becky Lynch’s return.
Following a loss to Liv Morgan on the May 27th episode of Raw, Becky Lynch disappeared from WWE television. The star’s contract subsequently expired on June 1st and she walked away from the company as a free agent.
During the NFL’s first-ever Christmas Day broadcast on Netflix, an ad for WWE Raw was shown multiple times. Fans were quick to notice that the ad featured a certain Becky Lynch — another substantial hint she’ll be back on the show soon.
Rumours ran wild that Lynch was set to return on Raw’s Netflix premiere but it seems that plan was pulled to accommodate someone else.
Becky Lynch Makes Way For The Undertaker
BodySlam’s Cory Hays reported that Becky Lynch was in town for the show and was meant to make her long-awaited return to WWE as part of the Women’s World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. Instead, that plan was nixed in favour of The Undertaker making a shock appearance to celebrate with Rhea Ripley after she won the title.
The report noted that Lynch’s return to the company is coming very soon and when she does her path to WrestleMania will be immediately clear.
