Real Reason Alexa Bliss Has Not Returned To WWE

Alexa Bliss has not been seen in WWE for well over a year and now more light has been shed on her future with the company.

Alexa Bliss has not been seen on WWE television since falling to defeat against Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. The former Raw Women’s Champion revealed a skin cancer diagnosis two months later before giving birth to her first child in November 2023.

Bliss has not been seen in WWE since then and many questions have been raised about her future in the company. Alexa Bliss has teased a return to the ring ahead of the Royal Rumble but it seems she still has to work out a deal with WWE.

Alexa Bliss Still Expected To Return To WWE

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why Alexa Bliss has not yet returned to WWE television:

The deal with Alexa Bliss is, she was supposed to be on the show in San Jose. They have not come to terms on a contract but she was going to debut – the thing is she was gonna debut with the Wyatt Sicks but the Wyatt Sicks have been moved to SmackDown so it kinda made no sense for her to be on Raw.

She was expected to come back and they’re working out a contract deal, that’s where everything stands right now.
