Real-Life Bloodline Member Starts New Chapter After WWE Release
This Bloodline member embarks upon a new journey.
The Bloodline is one of the WWE’s most successful and memorable factions of the past decade. It has housed stars such as Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn.
The faction’s idea stemmed from the fact that Samoan wrestlers from the Anoa’i family, who have been wrestling for generations, can form a stable and even have family infighting, making for great storytelling.
But the aforementioned names aren’t the only ones. The actual Anoa’i family includes legends like The Rock, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga and many more.
While the majority of these wrestlers are a part of WWE, some are currently wrestling outside the Stamford-based promotion. One such wrestler is Samu’s son, Lance Anoa’i.

The 33-year-old had a short run in WWE from the mid to late 2010s and was even signed to NXT for a while. He was released by the company in October this year.
The star has since returned to the independent scene where he is working with his cousin Zilla Fatu(Umaga’s son). He took to Instagram to announce this new beginning.

Lance Anoa’i recently competed in a tag-team matchup with Zilla Fatu against the Hardy Boys in a prominent indie wrestling show, House Of Glory: Winter Warfare, for the HOG Tag Team Championships. Lance betrayed his cousin by planting a superkick on him and spearing him to successfully turn heel, leading the Hardys to retain the gold.
