Rare WWE Match Made For Bash In Berlin

Rhea Ripley WWE

A match rarely seen in recent years in WWE has been made for Bash In Berlin with revenge at the forefront of two star’s minds.

SummerSlam kicked off with Rhea Ripley challenging Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship and Mami had Dominik Mysterio by her side for the bout. Mysterio’s influence proved to be pivotal as he stopped Ripley from nailing Morgan with a chair, but rightfully pointed out that would have stopped her from regaining the title she had never lost.

However, a later distraction from Mysterio proved harder to explain as he took the referee’s attention which allowed Morgan to hit Ripley with Oblivion on the chair to pick up the win. After the bout, all became clear as Dominik Mysterio helped Liv Morgan to her feet before planting a big kiss on her.

The betrayals didn’t end there however as Damian Priest was screwed over by Finn Balor as he defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther.

After months of simmering tension, Balor placed Gunther’s foot on the rope to break up a pinfall attempt by Priest before The Ring General locked a distracted champion in his sleeper hold to win the World Heavyweight Title for the very first time.

Now on Raw in Austin, Dominik Mysterio finally explained why he betrayed Rhea Ripley before he was attacked by Damian Priest. Priest and Ripley have remained united in the face of the new Judgment Day with Priest defeating Carlito on the show before Ripley almost nailed Mysterio with her Riptide but Liv Morgan made the save just in time.

By the end of the night, a huge match was made for WWE Bash In Berlin on August 31st as a mixed tag team match will take place in the German capital pitting Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley against Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan.

What Else Will Take Place At WWE Bash In Berlin?

So far only two other matches have been confirmed for Bash In Berlin with Gunther defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton while Cody Rhodes put his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against a reluctant challenger.
