Randy Orton won’t get his hands on Kevin Owens at WrestleMania, but The Viper is still heading to WWE’s biggest show of the year looking for a fight.

Randy Orton’s road to WrestleMania looked set to put him on a collision course with Kevin Owens months after Owens viciously turned on Orton and put him out of action. But that match won’t be happening.

Kevin Owens has been forced out of WrestleMania due to injury and has now undergone neck surgery that could keep him out of action for an entire year. Randy Orton has broke character to pay tribute to Owens, and now he’s confirmed he’ll be marching into WrestleMania 41 even if he doesn’t have an opponent.

Randy Orton Wants 20th WrestleMania Match

On SmackDown in Las Vegas, Randy Orton confirmed that he’s issuing an open challenge on night two of WrestleMania 41 as he looks to take part in the 20th WrestleMania match of his legendary career.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis could emerge as a surprise opponent for Orton after he was dropped with an RKO after Owens’ injury was announced. Solo Sikoa also got in Orton’s face on SmackDown recently, and he is without a match on the grandest stage of them all.

An incoming WWE star has been ruled out as Randy Orton’s opponent, while speculation has also suggested it could be the missing giant, Omos, who could suffer perhaps the biggest RKO in WrestleMania history.
