Randy Orton Tipped To Have WWE Retirement Tour In 2026
Randy Orton is 45 years old.
Orton hasn’t officially announced any plans to retire in 2026. But as he enters the latter stage of his WWE career, it’s clear he’s approaching the twilight of his in-ring journey.
That said, veteran Eric Bischoff has stated that WWE should start planning a proper send-off for The Viper.
Randy Orton Deserves A Proper Sendoff, Says Vince Russo
Eric, on his 83 Weeks podcast, highlighted how much of his time and energy Orton has put into WWE over the past couple of decades, and the company should repay him with a well-planned farewell tour.
Russo said:
“For me, the one retirement tour that I want to see is Randy Orton. I just… I think so much of Randy as a performer.”
“He is such an unbelievable performer…that I’d like to see him get the sendoff that he absolutely deserves.”
Randy Orton’s last WWE match was on the October 3, 2025, episode of SmackDown, where he teamed with Cody Rhodes against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. He has been off TV since then.
He is expected to return around the Royal Rumble 2026, with reports and promotional material pointing to a comeback tied to the Saudi Arabia event in January.
Amidst his absence from TV, he was recently seen celebrating Christmas with his family. Kim Orton shared a picture of the Orton family spending quality time during the holiday season.
Last month, the Apex Predator was spotted in Belize, enjoying some happy vacation time with his friends and family.
