Randy Orton Competes On WWE Raw For First Time In 18 Months

Randy Orton

Randy Orton came back with a bang at Survivor Series and has wasted no time in mixing it up on WWE Raw.

Randy Orton was told not to wrestle again during his eighteen months away from the ring. During that time Orton underwent back fusion surgery as questions loomed large over his future.

Those questions were answered heading into Survivor Series when it was confirmed that Orton was set to join Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins against The Judgment Day in WarGames at Survivor Series.

Randy Orton was last to enter the match and his teammates didn’t even know if he was going to turn up but he did and made the difference as his team picked up the win.

Randy Orton Confronted By Rhea Ripley On WWE Raw

On Raw in Nashville, Randy Orton opened the show where he addressed the fans in attendance before he was interrupted by Rhea Ripley. Ripley was unhappy that Judgment Day’s plan to cash in Damian Priest’s Money In The Bank contract during WarGames was thwarted by Orton and The Viper had no problem telling Mami that “Daddy’s back.”

That led to JD McDonagh – wearing a neck brace after his brutal RKO in WarGames – and Dominik Mysterio attacking Orton. McDonagh ate another RKO and Randy Orton told Mysterio he’d speak to Adam Pearce and get a match against him later in the night.

In the night’s main event, Orton took on Mysterio, ultimately defeating the NXT North American Champion in a non-title match with his patented RKO.
