WWE Star Interested In Facing Randy Orton At WrestleMania 41

A veteran WWE wrestler is volunteering to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41.

Randy Orton was supposed to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 41 because the two former WWE Champions have had a long rivalry going back to last fall when Owens turned on his friend Orton.

Unfortunately, Kevin Owens suffered a serious neck injury that required surgery this week, so it’s unknown who Orton will face at WrestleMania 41 or if Orton will be left off the card.

When Randy Orton learned about KO’s injury on SmackDown on April 4th, he reacted without words, but he did respond with an RKO on WWE SmackDown Nick Aldis.

There are still two more SmackDown episodes before WrestleMania 41, so perhaps WWE will announce an alternate plan soon.

Karrion Kross Would Like To Face Randy Orton At WrestleMania 41

The “Viper” Randy Orton will reach an incredible milestone at WrestleMania 41 because he’ll be the third man to compete in 20 WrestleManias if he has a match. The only two men ahead of Orton are WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker (27) and Triple H (23)

Karrion Kross is on the WWE Raw brand and is sad about what happened to Kevin Owens while also suggesting in an interview with Wrestlezone that he could face Orton at WrestleMania.

“Sometimes people just throw their own two cents in there, ‘How about me?’ And there was nothing there to begin with. Which is cool, sometimes you got to shoot your shot. But that wasn’t the case this time. They really want to see me do it. And look, I don’t know what’s going to happen.

I’m still really upset hearing about what happened to Kevin. I was kind of hoping he was going to pop out of a box and be like, ‘Gotcha!’ I was really hoping that was going to happen. And then, I wouldn’t even have been mad that he worked us all. But I don’t think that is the case.

I don’t know who Randy’s opponent is going to be. But, if they asked me, I’d do it in a heartbeat. And that would be crazy if that happened in Las Vegas. That’s where I got my break and that’s really still very much my home.”

The April 11th edition of WWE SmackDown takes place in Seattle and could provide answers regarding who Randy Orton will face at WrestleMania 41.
