Who Does Randy Orton Want For WWE Hall Of Fame Induction?
Randy Orton has one name at the top of his Hall of Fame list.
When Randy Orton eventually retires, he’ll do so as one of the most decorated WWE stars in history. He’s wrestled several performers many consider to be among the greatest ever, and he’s notched up 14 World Championship wins in the process.
In short, if anyone is destined to land in the WWE Hall of Fame, it’s Randy Orton.
While appearing on So, What Do You Want To Talk About? with Cody Rhodes, Orton revealed who he’d like to induct him into the Hall of Fame when the time comes.
“I almost don’t even want to say because I feel like he’d hear this and then feel obligated, but maybe John (Cena) at this point. So there’s a few reasons, selfishly, because I know that he would knock it out of the park. I know John could do me better justice than just about anybody, because John’s John.
Of course, there’s other candidates, but I feel like John would be at the top of my list, but I almost hate even saying it out loud, because I can’t imagine how busy that dude is with everything he’s got going on. You know, I have a tendency to sell myself short and I feel like, you know, maybe he would love to do it, but I don’t know that I could ask him.”
Randy Orton Lays Out Retirement Plan
During the same conversation, Randy Orton said he’s going to wrestle as long as he can, but his wife has promised to let him know when to walk away.
Orton went on to explain that when he does retire, he’ll be walking away for good. The star cited Cena’s current retirement plan as his own blueprint when it comes to finally stepping away.
Randy Orton recently confirmed he’s just signed a new five-year WWE contract. The new agreement will see the veteran wrestle with the company beyond his 49th birthday.
