Randy Orton Praised By Ex-WWE Star For Match Performances

Randy Orton WWE

Randy Orton has received high praise from former WWE Superstar, Maven.

After getting his break into the wrestling business by competing in, and winning, the inaugural MTV reality series WWE Tough Enough, Maven spent four years on the WWE main roster and competed in the squared circle with many present and future greats.

Whilst his WWE tenure is likely best remembered for an unforgettable encounter with The Undertaker at the 2002 Royal Rumble, Maven also crossed paths with the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena and Batista as they started to build their legacies in the company.

When asked recently about his in-ring career highlight with WWE, Maven was quick to name two legendary names at the top of his list.

Speaking during a recent appearance on ‘Power Talk‘, the former three-time WWE Hardcore Champion listed ‘The Viper’ as one of his all-time great oppponents alongside current WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H:

“My highlight match would definitely be any match I had with Randy Orton.

Randy would bring the best out of me. Randy was just an easy guy to work with. Our synergy in the ring worked well together. Pretty comparable with size and our athletic ability was on par with one another.

I also worked well with Hunter, but then again, Triple H is good enough. He could take a broomstick and work well with it. So I would say between Randy and Hunter, I probably had my best matches.”

Randy Orton Confirms Which Night He Will Compete On At WrestleMania
