Randy Orton Confirms What Night WrestleMania 41 Match Will Take Place

Randy Orton is ready for his WrestleMania 41 fight with Kevin Owens.

The rivalry between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens has been brewing since last November when Orton shockingly gave Orton a Package Piledriver.

That attack by Owens put Orton on the shelf until Orton made his return at WWE Elimination Chamber on March 1st to show Owens that he was back and ready to go.

Since Orton has returned, WWE has made his WrestleMania 41 match official against Kevin Owens.

During a WWE SmackDown match in London that saw Orton face off against Drew McIntyre, Owens showed up in the aisle, and Orton was distracted by it. When Orton turned back around, McIntyre hit him with a Claymore Kick to pick up the victory.

After the match, Owens pulled Orton out of the ring and slammed Orton onto the commentary table. Owens wanted to do a move on the table, so Orton tripped up Owens on the table. Orton lined up Owens for The Punt, but Owens climbed the barricade and ran away to the back.

Randy Orton Is Ready For WrestleMania 41 Saturday Match Against Kevin Owens

Following the chaos on SmackDown, the WWE cameras caught up to Orton on Twitter/X where The Viper revealed that his match with Owens will be on WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is on April 19th.

“I was out four freakin months because Kevin Owens dropped me on my head: four months, no matches. For four months, the ring rust started to build up, but now, I’m out…The match is set: Owens/Orton WrestleMania, piledriver versus punt kick.

He is just only going to nip, nip, nip, nip away at me until I kick him so hard come the day on WrestleMania, ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All,’ I’m going to send his head clear over the freakin roof. Just wait and watch. Night one, WrestleMania 41. Kevin Owens, your ass is mine.”

That WrestleMania 41 match will be Randy Orton’s 20th match at WrestleMania, which makes him just the third wrestler to reach 20 matches at WrestleMania behind Triple H (23) and The Undertaker (27)
