Randy Orton Slams Embarrassing WWE Ticket Prices

Randy Orton

Randy Orton has shared his honest opinion on the extremely steep WrestleMania 41 ticket prices.

WWE is the hottest ticket in town, and there is no ticket hotter than WrestleMania. That has meant WWE fans are being gouged for even more money than ever, with ticket prices soaring in recent years. For that reason, perhaps it’s no surprise WWE is celebrating its most successful WrestleMania ever.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that for nosebleed seats in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, the cheapest ticket was $800, although this was reduced to $100 on the day of the show itself. But those wanting to sit a lot closer to the action had to have pretty deep pockets, and even Randy Orton has been left stunned by how much fans had to pay.

In a clip that has gone viral on social media, Randy Orton is seen with fans who attended WrestleMania as they explain the fortune they spent on tickets for the event. Orton can be heard saying, “It’s embarrassing to be honest, so much f*cking money for a seat.”

Randy Orton Wins Open Challenge

After Kevin Owens was forced to pull out of WrestleMania due to injury, Randy Orton was left without an opponent for the event. Orton instead issued an open challenge which was answered by TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. Hendry had his first WrestleMania moment but it was short-lived as Orton defeated him in just three minutes.

However, Randy Orton could have faced a former WWE Champion at the event before Hendry was inserted as his opponent.
