Randy Orton Gets Celebrity Backup for WWE SummerSlam

Randy Orton has found himself an unlikely ally heading into SummerSlam.

It all began on Friday Night SmackDown when tensions between Orton, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul hit a boiling point. While The Viper was already at odds with McIntyre in their brewing rivalry, the involvement of Logan Paul only added more fuel to the fire. As the war of words escalated, so did the physicality, setting the stage for an unexpected twist.

That twist came at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where four-time Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll made a surprise appearance alongside Randy Orton. In a match that saw chaos erupt outside the ring, Jelly Roll made his presence felt when The Maverick tried to interfere. He shoved Paul to the ground, giving Orton the perfect opening to hit the RKO on McIntyre and score a big win.

But the action didn’t stop there. After the match, Logan Paul tried to blindside Orton with a punch. Jelly Roll stepped in once again, blocking the shot and sending Paul flying out of the ring with a heavy blow. The celebration was short-lived, though, as McIntyre blindsided the musician with a brutal Claymore Kick, laying him out and sending a clear message.

Backstage, Orton checked in on Jelly Roll and apologized for the chaos. The music star, however, was unfazed. He fired back, saying Paul and McIntyre made a big mistake by underestimating him. The Apex Predator responded with a bold suggestion, stating that they settle things in the ring at SummerSlam.

With that, WWE officially announced a blockbuster tag team showdown featuring Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The match is now one of the most talked-about additions to the SummerSlam card, combining WWE’s star power with celebrity firepower.
