Randy Orton Makes Bold WWE WrestleMania 41 Prediction

Randy Orton has made his intentions clear for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

The rivalry between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton escalated last November when Owens did a cheap attack on Orton that saw Owens deliver a devastating Package Piledriver.

It was such a devastating move that Orton was kept on the sidelines until the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE in March. After Owens teased a piledriver on Sami Zayn on the concrete floor, Orton made the save with an RKO for Owens, much to the delight of the crowd.

At WWE SmackDown in Bologna, Italy, Randy Orton received a huge ovation from the crowd, who went on to sing his “Voices” theme song for about five minutes. Just as Orton was about to speak, Kevin Owens showed up for the interruption.

Kevin Owens said he knew what Randy Orton wanted to do, but Owens said he had something important to tell him. Owens said he was wrong for attacking Orton and hitting Orton with a piledriver.

As he continued, Owens claimed that Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn deserved what Owens did to them, but Orton didn’t deserve that. Owens said that Orton picked Cody’s side over Owens, so it angered Owens and made him do something he regrets.

The promo continued as Owens tried to suck up to Orton by saying that if anybody can understand anger issues, Orton is that guy. Owens told Orton he could forgive Orton for picking Cody’s side and then they could go back to how things were.

Owens mentioned WrestleMania saying he can’t think of a better moment than Owens & Orton becoming Tag Team Champions. Owens said they were so close to that and the fans chanted “no” to that.

When Randy Orton finally got a chance to speak, he admitted that it is rare to hear Owens admit he was wrong about anything, but Orton said you can shove that apology up your ass. Orton said that Owens used to “fight Owens fight” but now it’s “bitch Owens bitch.” Orton said that he hears voices in his head, they counsel him and they understand.

Randy Orton Plans To Bring Back The Punt At WrestleMania 41

There have been multiple instances in recent weeks where Randy Orton has teased bringing back The Punt kick to the head. Orton almost did it to Owens at Elimination Chamber and when he tried to do it to Carmelo Hayes, Owens was there to prevent it.

At the end of Orton’s promo in Italy, he said that at WrestleMania in Las Vegas, he’s going to kick KO’s freakin’ head clean off his shoulders, which is another way of saying he’s going to deliver on The Punt kick. The fans cheered that as Orton’s music played and Owens walked to the back.

Later on SmackDown, a graphic confirmed that Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens will take place at WrestleMania 41 on April 19 & 20 in Las Vegas.
