Raja Jackson Involved In Violent Incident
During a KnokX Pro event on August 23, Raja Jackson jumped into the ring and attacked Stuart Smith, who had been wrestling as Syko Stu.
In the midst of a match, Jackson stormed the ring as part of a planned run-in, but things quickly went off the rails. He initially jumped Stu with a version of a double-leg takedown, which appeared to knock Stu out. Despite this, Jackson mounted Stu and delivered a series of hard punches to his head and face until finally pulled away.
Stu was quickly rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for a raft of serious injuries. He’s since returned home to continue his recovery.
In the days following the incident, a GoFundMe was launched for Smith, which has raised more than $223,000. AEW star Chris Jericho has provided one of the biggest donations, adding $2,500.
