Raja Jackson Arrested And Charged Following Syko Stu Incident

Raja Jackson

A new report has confirmed that Raja Jackson has been arrested.

During a KnokX Pro event on August 23, Raja Jackson jumped into the ring and attacked Stuart Smith, who had been wrestling as Syko Stu.

In the midst of a match, Jackson stormed the ring as part of a planned run-in, but things quickly went off the rails. He initially jumped Stu with a version of a double-leg takedown, which appeared to knock Stu out. Despite this, Jackson mounted Stu and delivered a series of hard punches to his head and face until finally being pulled away.

Stu was quickly rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for a raft of serious injuries.

Earlier in the night, Stu hit Jackson with a beer can during a confrontation backstage, in what he believed was part of the storyline. The pair were later seen together having to come to an understanding with the promoter.

Raja Jackson Arrested

As reported by TMZ Sports, Jackson has now been arrested and booked on a felony charge. However, there’s no word on what exactly Jackson has been charged with. As of September 18, he remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.

Raja is the son of the former UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Syko Stu didn’t return home from the hospital until a week after the attack, and he faces a long road back to full health.

In the days following the incident, a GoFundMe has been launched for Smith, which has already raised more than $222,000. AEW star Chris Jericho has provided one of the biggest donations, adding $2,500.
