R-Truth Teases New Faction With 3 Major WWE Stars

R-Truth’s return to WWE after the June firing has been somewhat mediocre.

In an event that should have opened new doors for him, the former United States Champion has only been featured in two matches against John Cena and Aleister Black.

Apart from that, he has been primarily seen in backstage segments with Damian Priest.

Amidst fans’ speculation about his next storyline, Truth has shared a photo with three WWE stars.

R-Truth took to X and uploaded a picture alongside Carmelo Hayes and former WWE Tag Team Champions Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of The Street Profits, possibly teasing a new faction.

He captioned the post as “I’m driving now… Hop in.”

The Street Profits lost their tag team titles to the Wyatt Sicks on the July 11 episode of SmackDown. Hayes, meanwhile, last competed in the King of the Ring First Round Fatal Four-Way Match.

R-Truth Beats Aleister Black On SmackDown

R-Truth had crossed paths with Aleister Black on multiple occasions, leading up to their recent match on the blue brand.

During their interactions, they appeared to be coming to blows, only to be stopped by Damian Priest playing the peacemaker.

In the closing minutes of their match, Truth introduced a steel chair before Black attacked him. Black then went for the chair, but was distracted by the referee telling him not to use it.

This gave R-Truth the chance to roll Black up for a win.

A livid Black then stalked Truth backstage but was stopped by Priest. Although Black complied with his request, he attacked Priest, laying him out with a Black Mass.
