R-Truth Shockingly Returns For Revenge On John Cena At WWE MITB
R-Truth returned at Money in the Bank to cost John Cena and Logan Paul their tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
Days after losing to John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Truth announced that he was “released” from the Stamford-based company.
Reports later explained that WWE has decided to let the former 24/7 Champion’s contract expire, as sources claimed Truth turned down an offer with a significant pay cut.
Following the veteran announcement, WWE faced significant backlash from fans. On SmackDown, the crowd chanted ‘We want Truth,’ to which Cena responded, ‘You can’t handle the truth.’
Tonight, The Franchise Player and The Maverick battled The American Nightmare and Main Event Jey Uso in a huge tag team match in the main event of Money in the Bank.
As Cena seemed to be heading towards a win after taking out the former Undisputed WWE Champion by hitting him in the face with the title, he was suddenly attacked by a man in a black hoodie.
To the fans’ and WWE Champion’s surprise, the man revealed himself to be R-Truth. He then knocked out Cena with the title before fleeing through the crowd, allowing Rhodes to capitalize and pick up the victory.

R-Truth’s departure has seemingly turned into an angle in WWE
With his return tonight at Money in the Bank, R-Truth has seemingly reached an agreement to continue with the Stamford-based company. WWE even dropped his gear on WWE Shop immediately after his comeback, using his real name Ron Killings.
The former 24/7 Champion will now apparently continue his angle with John Cena.
