R-Truth Provides Injury Update
R-Truth has given a new update on the injury which has kept him out of action since November 2022.
On the 1st November 2022 edition of NXT, R-Truth landed awkwardly following a dive to the outside during his match with Grayson Waller. The match was stopped with Waller announced as the winner, and Truth was then helped backstage. The following week he confirmed that he had torn his quad and would undergo surgery.
Having not stepped inside the squared circle since, R-Truth has now provided an update on when we can expect to see him back.
In a live stream on his YouTube page, R-Truth confirmed that he’d had to undergo a second surgery following an infection which pushed back his rehabilitation, however he looks forward to getting back to things sooner rather than later.
Still healing up. Still healing up from my quad injury. I’m going back to WWE. I just have to heal up. I had to have two surgeries, a lot of people don’t know that. I caught an infection, so I had to have another surgery. That set me back, but y’all know me, I’m coming back probably sooner than y’all think.
Grayson Waller has recently set his sights on the NXT Championship, and battled title holder Bron Breakker on the New Year’s Evil special edition of NXT.
