R-Truth Initially Ignored WWE’s Approaches Before Shocking Return
R-Truth’s return to WWE shocked fans across the world.
R-Truth made Money In The Bank a bigger PLE than it was bound to be. His involvement in the main event stole the show, stunning the fans. However, a report suggests that the return may not have happened because of the way the company handled Truth’s release.
Last week, the WWE Universe made its feelings known about R-Truth getting released from the company. The fans went viral over social media and hijacked live TV shows with “we want Truth” chants. It all seemed worth it when R-Truth interfered in the main event, costing John Cena’s team the win.

Since Money In The Bank, fans have been raving to know whether it was all a work and what actually happened behind the scenes. Fightful Select has reported that R-Truth was unhappy with the way the company treated his release. He ignored all calls from the company and only decided to speak with Nick Khan when he approached him.
“We’re told that Killings actually ignored many of WWE’s approaches during the week, until Nick Khan took over and called Killings to work out a new deal. We’re told that the deal was a “meeting halfway” situation.” [H/T Fightful Select]
Triple H’s Response To R-Truth’s Return
The post-show Money In The Bank Press Conference was buzzing after the way the show ended. When Triple H came out to talk about the numbers and answer the media, he asked if they enjoyed the ride and that it was all a part of the show. The Chief Content Officer of WWE indicated that everything that took place in the last week was all part of a script.
However, R-Truth’s son took to Instagram to call Triple H a liar. He shared a cap emoji on his story, asking him not to lie. He has taken down the story, but the same was captured and shared across the internet.
