R-Truth Confirms Surgery Needed After Knee Injury
During a November 1, 2022 episode of WWE NXT, R-Truth would suffer an injury in a match against Grayson Waller, and now the multi-time 24/7 Champion has confirmed that he needs surgery.
A little five minutes into the NXT match, WWE Superstar R-Truth landed a front flip out of the squared circle, smashing into the floor rather than into Waller. Truth would injure himself so badly that the referee was forced to stop the bout due to Truth not being able to continue, and would give Waller the win.
On November 8, 2022, R-Truth tweeted out a video with confirmation of how serious his injury is, and that he would have to undergo surgery.
“Hey, hey, hey. What’s up? First off, I want to thank each and every one of y’all for y’all concerns and your get-wells, your prayers, your support. Yes, unfortunately, I got hurt. I did tear my quad tendon, and I’m at the surgery now as we speak. It is what it is, right? Y’all know I’ll be back. I wanna thank you. Without you, there ain’t no me. I’ll be back before y’all know it.”
Thank you to Each and every one of you!!!ππΎππΎππΏ π€ I might turn this into a documentary π§ #whatitispic.twitter.com/pichgdDqbA

Currently, no timetable is yet set for R-Truth to make his comeback. A torn quad injury can be severe and take up to seven months to recover as Triple H had to deal with twice in his legendary career.
