Shocking Prediction About Vince McMahon’s Future Amid WWE Return Speculations
Wrestling fans may not have seen the end of Vince McMahon.
Vince McMahon initially retired from WWE in 2022 amid allegations of misconduct.
The 79-year-old returned the following year and sold the company to Endeavor. He then left the company again in 2024 after being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sex trafficking and sexual assault.
While the former WWE Chairman kept a low profile for several months, he recently made multiple public appearances. He also launched a new company, 14TH & I, which will reportedly focus on the sports, media, & entertainment sectors.
All this came amid speculations suggesting McMahon was interested in reacquiring WWE and rumors that he might be interested in launching a new promotion.
On the Something To Wrestle podcast, WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) shared his predictions for Vince McMahon’s future, revealing that he believes the former chairman would return to the entertainment world in some capacity, whether through wrestling or other ventures.
Do I think he gets involved in something again? Two things: 1) I hope he does, and 2) Yes, Vince ain’t going quietly into the night. I don’t see it.
I don’t care if he’s 120. He ain’t going quietly into the night and I hope he didn’t. I think, to me, the entertainment world is a lot better with Vince McMahon in it. I want him in it and I hope that he does find a way to get into it, whether it’s wrestling or not, I don’t know. [2:11:50 onwards]
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross Thinks Vince McMahon Will Return To Wrestling
On his Grilling Jr. podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and AEW commentator Jim Ross discussed the rumors surrounding Vince McMahon’s potential return to the wrestling business.
Like JBL, the 73-year-old predicted the former WWE Chairman would eventually make a comeback to the wrestling industry.
I just don’t think we’ve heard the last of him in the pro wrestling space. I don’t know where it’s headed. I don’t have any inside information, but I just think that he hasn’t sung his last song. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
