Predicted Ending To John Cena’s WWE Retirement Tour Will Upset Fans

John Cena Oscars

John Cena’s WWE retirement tour is set to end next month.

The Leader of the Cenation made his main roster debut in the Stamford-based company in 2002. Earlier this year, the 48-year-old legend kicked off his farewell tour.

Cena’s final run saw him win the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, turn heel, and go on to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The Never Seen 17 also turned back babyface, lost the Undisputed WWE Title to Cody Rhodes, and got squashed by Brock Lesnar.

On his final RAW appearance in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, Cena defeated Dominik Mysterio to capture the Intercontinental Championship and finally become a Grand Slam Champion.

The following week, he teamed up with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus to beat The Judgment Day in his last-ever appearance on the red brand.

John Cena To Lose His Two Final Matches?

At Survivor Series, John Cena is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio. He would then compete in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 against the winner of the “Last Time Is Now” tournament.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts predicted an outcome to Cena’s two final matches that would certainly upset the 17-time world champion’s fans. The 42-year-old speculated that Cena would drop the Intercontinental Championship to Dirty Dom at Survivor Series before losing to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

I think we’ve got two John Cena matches left. And I think he’s going to lose both of them. [55:17 onwards]
