“Pray For Me” – WWE Star Pleas Ahead Of SmackDown

A WWE superstar had an interesting remark while responding to a fan prior to a big SmackDown match.

It’s been a week of highs and lows for Chelsea Green as she heads into SmackDown with a chance to win a championship.

Chelsea Green and NXT North American Champion Ethan Page won the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles on November 2nd when they beat Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra. There are no Mixed Tag Team Titles in WWE, but since the company owns the majority of AAA now, Green and Page were given a shot at the gold and won the titles.

In the main event of WWE NXT, Green and Page held a celebration that Joe Hendry ruined. While Hendry appeared in the aisle, there was also Thea Hail, who was hiding in a cake during the celebration. Hendry and Hail beat up Page and Green while also messing up their outfits with cake.

There was a funny video response from Green as well since she said, “I have never been creamed on like this.” Her husband, Matt Cardona, even chimed in on social media.

At WWE SmackDown in Greenville, South Carolina on November 7th, Green will challenge Giulia for the Women’s US Title. Green was the inaugural Women’s US Champion when she won a tournament in December 2024, so she’s looking to be a two-time champion.

On X/Twitter, Green told a fan to pray for her, which may or may not be an example of Green’s sense of humor.

Every social media post that a wrestler does isn’t meant to be taken seriously. Chelsa Green is a great example of that because she uses humor a lot.
