Positive News On Dakota Kai

Dakota Kai WWE Raw Netflix red carpet

Dakota Kai will be back in the ring soon.

On the January 20 edition of Raw, Dakota Kai teamed with Iyo Sky to beat Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. However, it quickly became apparent that there wasn’t much to celebrate.

During the match, Kai took a huge dropkick from Stark as she ran the ropes, and her rival jumped from the top rope. Upon impact, Kai immediately shot back onto the canvas with her head cannoning off the ring.

Following the show, it was reported that Dakota Kai had been pulled from all events and placed in concussion protocol. As a result, Kai hasn’t wrestled since.

The star is coming off the back of her most impressive run on the main roster, where she made the finals of the tournament to decide the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Good News On Dakota Kai

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Kai is “on the cusp” of returning to television. WWE is hopeful that the star will be back on the road with Monday Night Raw in the next few weeks, with one source adding she’ll be back before the end of the month, if not sooner.

There’s been more good news for WWE in recent days following reports that Tyler Bate will be back in action within weeks. The British star suffered a major pectoral injury back in July 2024 and quickly underwent surgery.

Bate has already been cleared to get back in the ring, and he’s ready to return to television.

However, Apollo Crews, JD McDonagh, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed remain on the injury list.
