Popular AEW Star Suffers Injury Blow

Tony Khan AEW

An AEW star has suffered an injury blow.

Hologram hasn’t wrestled since defeating The Beast Mortos at WrestleDream and it seems it will be a few more weeks before fans see him back in action. The high-flyer has become an incredibly popular part of AEW since joining the company in July, regularly starring on Collision.

In fact, the former AAA star has yet to taste defeat in singles or tag team action.

On the October 19th edition of Collision, Mortos was shown attacking the star again and trying to rip his mask off as RUSH and Dralistico watched on.

AEW’s Hologram Suffers Injury At WrestleDream

The 25-year-old has now revealed in a short video on social media that he’s unable to compete at an upcoming event for GALLI Lucha Libre.

“Hello to all my friends in Chicago and fans of GALLI Lucha Libre! This is your champion, the Musketeer of the Air, Aramis (also known as Hologram) to bring you two pieces of news: a slightly good one and a bad one. The bad news is that I will not be able to appear on the 10/27 show.

Believe me that I was looking forward to the show and defend this title (the GALLI Indiscutible Title), but I got injured and I will be out for some weeks. I would be with you all if it were up to me, but that is not the case per advice from the medics so I will have to post-pone that match against Beast Mortos.

The slightly good news is I won’t be out for that long, just about two weeks. I will try to heal up as soon as I can so I can bring a great spectacle for all of you and be a worthy champion. A hug from the Musketeer of The Air,”

In more positive injury news for AEW, Powerhouse Hobbs recently confirmed he’s been cleared to get back in the ring. The star suffered a ruptured patellar tendon back in April.
