“Leading Political Figures” To Be Invited To John Cena’s Last Match

John Cena WWE Last Time

John Cena is a man in demand.

As he prepares to face AJ Styles one last time at Crown Jewel, John Cena’s retirement schedule is now clearer than ever. Following his match with Styles in Australia, Cena will make two special appearances on Raw before wrestling at Survivor Series, and finally at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

According to recent reports, Gunther will be the man to retire Cena when WWE heads to Washington, D.C.

For several months, it was expected that Cena would retire in Boston, but instead, he’ll appear there on November 10. This sparked speculation that the change in approach had political motivations for the company.

White House Figures To Attend John Cena’s Last Match

As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, several leading political figures will be in the crowd when Cena says goodbye. Although the attendance of U.S. President Donald Trump is “undecided,” others in the White House have already told WWE that they’ll be there.

“They expect leading political figures to be invited and attend this show. Donald Trump has not confirmed coming. He has confirmed being at the Army vs. Navy football game. The game will be at M&T Stadium in Baltimore at 3 p.m. that day, so he easily, if he wanted to, could get to the show…

The belief is there will be a ton of people from the White House at the show, but Trump is undecided at the moment, but a lot of major people have already told WWE they are coming.”

Elsewhere in the newsletter, it was reported that John Cena will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Cena has famously never won the Intercontinental Title.
