Pitch Made For Sami Zayn To Debut Crazy New Look In WWE

Could WWE be ready to pull the trigger on something very different for Sami Zayn?

At Survivor Series, the men’s WarGames match suffered a shocking twist as a mystery man attacked CM Punk, allowing Bron Breakker to nail the World Heavyweight Champion with a spear and win the bout for his team.

It has since emerged that Austin Theory was the masked man, and he is expected to be involved in some way with The Vision moving forward. However, as speculation built around who the attacker might be, there were plenty of fans who suggested it might have been Sami Zayn.

Big Change Coming For Sami Zayn?

Now, WWE broadcaster Sam Roberts, speaking on NotSam Wrestling, has explained why he thinks Zayn’s name was in the mix and why a big change could be on its way for the former Intercontinental Champion:

Sami Zayn is a name that’s been thrown around. And there are people going, ‘I don’t know about that Sami Zayn,’ because I think people are waiting for a refresh on Sami Zayn. I think it’s time for a refresh on Sami Zayn.“But what if Sami Zayn wasn’t so lovable? What if Sami Zayn wasn’t so everyman? What if Sami Zayn wasn’t that guy that just worked hard and, ‘Gee golly, I’m gonna get it done?’

What if Sami Zayn shaved his head? What if Sami Zayn shaved his head and cut his beard short? He can cut his beard all the way off, but cut his beard short and shaved his head.“And he just became somebody that was actually using what he’s got in the ring, using the tools that he’s got, to be brutal.“What if it was no more ‘Mr Nice Guy’ Sami Zayn?
