Penta Teases Change For His WWE Future

Penta has suggested something that could lead to a change for his future in WWE.

For the past two decades, the charismatic Penta has been a success everywhere he has gone, including his current run in WWE that started early in the year and has continued on the Raw brand.

When he worked for other companies in the past, Penta was usually part of a tag team with his brother Rey Fenix. Together, they have been known as the Lucha Brothers (or Lucha Bros).

In AEW, they held the World Tag Team Championships and also held the World Trios Championships with Pac. During their run as a trio, they had an epic Best of 7 Series with The Elite’s Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega.

While Penta is on the Raw brand, hitting the Mexican Destroyer on The New Day, his brother Rey Fenix is on SmackDown, and it has left many fans wondering when The Lucha Brothers would reunite.

Penta Calls For Lucha Bros To Reunite In “Best Company”

There have been storylines where it seemed as though Penta would need a partner to fight back against teams like The New Day, but he has had allies in teams like The War Raiders, so Penta hasn’t worked with his brother in WWE yet.

Penta spoke to the Battleground podcast about the possibility of the Lucha Brothers being a tag team in WWE.

“I love my brother, I love Lucha Bros. Now, I enjoy my singles career. I think my brother [does] too because I don’t know, maybe 15 years ago was the last time when we worked separate. After that, every single match, every single company, every single everything was together with the Lucha Brothers.

As a tag team, we’ve conquered everything around the world but now the most important thing is here in WWE, the best company in the universe. Imagine the best tag team in the universe together again in the best company in the universe.”

As for what’s next, Penta issued a warning to the Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio on Raw. Mysterio brushed it off by saying that he had beaten Penta many times before.
