Penta El Zero Miedo’s AEW Deal Finally Ends

Penta El Zero Miedo AEW

A wantaway AEW star is no longer Tony Khan’s problem as it emerges that Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract with the company has expired.

After reports that WWE already made an offer to the Lucha Bros, AEW made clear that it was adding time to Rey Fenix’s contract due to time missed because of injury. That could see Fenix and Penta becoming free agents at different times putting paid to plans that they could debut together elsewhere in the near future.

Penta El Zero Miedo has previously denied he’s spoken to any other company about a deal while still under contract with AEW, a claim that has been at odds with several reports about the situation. But now it seems that he’s no longer part of the AEW roster and he can talk to whoever he wants.

Penta El Zero Miedo No Longer Under AEW Deal

Fightful Select has now reported that Penta’s contract with AEW is now up and he is a free agent, leaving him able to sign elsewhere if he wishes.

The report also noted that AEW abandoned plans to have Penta, Fenix, and their Death Triangle partner Pac win the Trios Championship at All In after the relationship between the company and the Lucha Bros became strained. There is said to be plenty of interest in having Penta El Zero Miedo be part of several marquee matches on the indie scene if he wishes to pursue that avenue while Rey Fenix remains under his AEW contract.
