Penta Celebrates With NFL Star After WWE Main Event Win

Penta has made a splash since joining WWE and a week after he was the Royal Rumble’s Iron Man, he’s now made his debut on an overlooked show.

Penta finally joined WWE in January 2025 when he made his debut Raw and defeated Chad Gable. He also earned a win over Pete Dunne on the following week’s show.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion entered his first Royal Rumble where he lasted the longest time in the men’s match. Ultimately, Jey Uso won the Royal Rumble, marking Penta’s first loss in the company.

Penta Faces Grayson Waller On Main Event

Fans in Nashville for Raw might well have been expecting to see Penta on the show, but they would have had to get there early to see him. That’s because Penta defeated Grayson Waller in a match taped for Main Event before Raw went live. This match marks the first time Penta will have competed on that show since joining WWE.

After his win over Waller, Penta was joined in the ring by San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle to celebrate the victory.

The other match taped for Main Event that will likely air later in the week saw Zoey Stark pick up a win over Maxxine Dupri.
