Paul Heyman Says WWE Career “Just Getting Started”
Paul Heyman first appeared on WWE screens as a full-time employee back in 2001 but Roman Reigns’ Wise Man says he’s only just begun.
Heyman had previously appeared on WCW television as the leader of the Dangerous Alliance before he became the boss of ECW which made waves in the wrestling business throughout the nineties.
He established a relationship with WWE during his time as the leader in the land of extreme and in 2001 when ECW was on the brink of collapse, Paul Heyman found a new home at the announce table on Monday Night Raw.
Now in his second spell with WWE, Paul Heyman is still best known for his on-screen advocacy of Brock Lesnar but since 2020 he has done a tremendous job as the Special Counsel to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. With such a legacy built behind them, what more could Heyman possibly have to do?
Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Paul Heyman was asked if there was anything else he could see himself doing with his life outside of WWE, to which he replied:
“I’ve still got a long time to go. I’m just getting started. I’m still figuring stuff out right now. I feel like I’m in my sophomore phase of my career.”
Paul Heyman will have to be at his wisest to help his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns negotiate the crisis he currently finds himself in. The Usos have burned their bridges with Reigns and will take on Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a huge tag team match at Money In The Bank.
Of course, Cody Rhodes warned Roman Reigns before they met at WrestleMania that his Bloodline would disintegrate and if that prophecy does come true, it could mean that even Paul Heyman turns his back on his Tribal Chief before all is said and done.
