Paul Heyman Teases Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future, Talks UFC

TJR Wrestling

TMZ recently caught up with Paul Heyman, who continued to stoke the flames for his client when it comes to Brock Lesnar’s future commitments.

When asked about the rumors of Brock Lesnar’s contract expiring after WrestleMania and the chances of him returning to UFC:

“I think Brock Lesnar does whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do. If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in UFC, Brock Lesnar will fight in UFC.

If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in WWE, he will fight in WWE: ask Braun Strowman. Ask Randy Orton. Ask the Undertaker. Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.”

When pressed on how Lesnar would fare after 18-months away from the Octagon, The Advocate argued the benefits of extended breaks between headline fights:

“The time away actually makes him better because his body gets a chance to heal.

The problem with these UFC fighters, and they’re all fantastic athletes, top of the line in the entire world: is that they wear their bodies down in these training camps. All these guys that are cutting weight are just destroying their own bodies.

Brock Lesnar is probably the healthiest fighter to enter UFC if he decides to do that.”

Heyman was also questioned about the possibility of being paired with Ronda Rousey in the WWE which was met with a very much in-character non-response:

Why limit the people I have my eye on to Ronda Rousey? I mean, I have my eye on anyone who’s a top box office attraction.”

Following the interview, Paul Heyman took to Twitter to address his comments.

Tommy’s Thoughts: Brock Lesnar might be the luckiest man on the planet to have a hype man like Paul Heyman in his corner. Considering all the legwork that Heyman does, whether it’s random media quotes like this or his usual awesome Raw promos that don’t even require Brock’s presence, I sure hope Paul E. is getting a good cut of things just for keeping the buzz around his client high.

It’s amazing that even when there’s been no updates on “Will Brock Stay or Go Again?”, all Heyman has to do is open his mouth and interest piques again. Even if you don’t like Happy Heyman as a person or a character, no denying he is the undisputed Master of the Mic.

Hell, after that promo on the TMZ paparazzo: maybe Heyman should be the one making Brock Lesnar money?
