Paul Heyman Promo Named “One Of The Best Ever” By Wrestling Legend
Paul Heyman has been praised for his microphone work by fellow legendary wrestling personality, Jim Cornette.
Cornette is a notoriously outspoken critic on the current product but took the time to applaud the WWE Hall Of Famer for his promo on the 5th May edition of Raw.
Having aligned with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41, Heyman delivered an impassioned promo in an attempt to earn Rollins a shot at Jey Uso’s World Heavweight Championship. It proved to be successful, with Rollins recieving a title shot that night which ended after a returning CM Punk attacked Rollins with a chair.
Speaking recently on his popular podcast, ‘Drive Thru with Jim Cornette‘, the legendary name had high praise for the passion and intensity in which Heyman delivered the promo, where the former Tribal Chief also noted his belief that he had not choice but to leave the side of Roman Reigns:
“This is one of the best things he’s ever done. He cranked up on Jey Uso by telling him you think I betrayed your family, oh no, no, no, no, my best friend, CM Punk… put me in a position where it would sabotage my relationship with Roman Reigns… I picked a stray big dog on the island of irrelevancy and turned him into the Tribal Chief.
And he blew it. He blew it, not me, then he disappeared and left me to get put through a table. You blame me? Screw you and screw you fans for booing me. And he was just his eyes were popping out. And it was f***ing great, right?”
Paul Heyman Named Greatest Of All Time By WWE Hall Of Famer
WWE Hall Of Famer Jimmy Hart believes Paul Heyman is the greatest manager of all-time.
‘The Mouth Of The South’ has highlighted Heyman’s longevity as a reason for his selection whilst praising the 59 year-old for his ability to make everything he takes part in meaningful.
