Paul Heyman Gushes Over Working With Triple H In WWE
Paul Heyman is honored to work with Triple H in WWE.
Since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque took the reigns of WWE’s creative direction back in 2022, Paul Heyman has become a staunch advocate of The Game, even using his Hall of Fame induction to praise the 14-time World Champion.
Now, during an interview with Sam Roberts at Fanatics Fest in New York City, Heyman has spoken about his first meeting with Levesque back in 1997.
“I’ve always had a lot of respect for Paul Levesque. When we had ECW participation at Monday Night RAW, and I met him backstage, don’t know what the conversation was completely, but it was about Killer Kowalski in the manner in which he was trained, and the appreciation that he had for the history of the business, but the vision that he had that as much as I love the past, and I’m grounded in the rudimentary and the fundamental ways of the business, we gotta push it forward.
Heyman went on to describe working with Triple H now as an “absolute honor” due to his love for collaboration.
“Even back then, in ’97 I was like, wow, this guy has his finger on the pulse of the future. Working with Paul Levesque today is an absolute honor because he’s a collaborator. He loves to collaborate. He loves to hear different ideas and he likes to implement them.”
Paul Heyman Teases WWE Return
During the same interview, Paul Heyman hinted towards a return to WWE TV. The Wise Man has been missing in action from SmackDown ever since he was the subject of a brutal beatdown from Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline. With Roman Reigns now back on the blue brand, it could only be a matter of time before his Special Counsel also returns.
